Crossing the Finish Line in May

As May approaches, we are rounding out the end of the semester with many events including our second concert series! Don't worry, we've also got things planned for the summer. Here's what you can look forward to in May.

Open Coaching Session #4

On Friday, May 1st Applied Music is hosting the fourth and last Open Coaching Session facilitated by Professor Lee Hoffman. Around 24 students will be able to gather feedback on their performances before the Student Recital and their Final Juries. Anyone is welcome to attend and observe from 11am to 1pm in Fine Arts Choir Room 547.

Applied Music Presents: Student Recital

Next Friday, May 8th, join us in supporting out hardworking students from the Applied Music Program. They have been working all semester to perform pieces from their repertoire right before final Juries. Admission is free and we will be having two performance blocks with vocalists starting at 12pm and instrumentalists starting at 1:30pm in Fine Arts Choir Room 547. We hope to see you there!

2026 Summer Jazz Workshop

Last but certainly not least, the long-awaited Summer Jazz Workshop will be held at ARC on Saturday, June 13th from 9am to 5pm.
